    1. Peter NADIN, convict on the "Clara" 1864 to WA, marriage details
    2. Joanne Flack
    3. Hi All This is a copy of an email I sent many years ago: "Convict Peter Nadin "Clara" 1864 to WA , received his ticket of leave on 1 July 1865 and his certificate of freedom on 10 March 1869. He left Western Australia for South Australia on 10 October 1876. Cannot find a marriage for him in either WA or SA, but a kind Lister to this list obtained information re his death in 1885 at the Adelaide Destitute Asylum , as follows: How Long in Colony: Aust. 12 years - Sth. Aust. 1882 (which does not tie up with arriving in 1864 but some convicts covered their tracks) Relatives in Colony: Wife left him and gone to Melbourne (So could he have married in Melbourne as his wife had returned there?) If he did not go to SA but to Vistoria and there married could someone do a Marriage Look-Up for Peter from 1876 to 1882 please? Other details on the Asylum entries tie up - his age, occupation." There was help from a Lister to say no marriage in Victoria. Could SKS who has access kindly do a search for WA and SA, please. I have been contacted by a relative of Peter, who lives in England, and he would like to know if there were any children from the marriage/ Best regards Joanne at Wyee NSW
