There are lots of people on the newsgroup and on the companion mailing list who would be willing to help, but we really need a bit more information, and we need to know just what it is that you are looking for. And, it helps a lot if you make your subject heading more specific, use proper upper/lower case, and put all surnames in block capitals. It's also a help if you tell us where you are so that we can suggest resources that are available to you. The NSW BDM Registry at http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/search.htm has a Charles William SMITH whose birth was registered in 1870 at Sydney, parents being (another!) Charles William and Margaret SMITH. This appears to be the one you're referring to, but from there on it gets more difficult. SMITH is, of course, a difficult name to research, but if you try Charles W. SMITH in the Marriages Index, you'll see there is one marriage (to Kate CURLEY) in 1891. They appear to have had 7 children by 1902, but unfortunately the given names do not match those you provided. I made several attempts to find the birth entries for the 3 children, without any success. Where did your information come from? I could not find the second marriage in the NSW Marriages Index. Indeed, there is only one marriage for a bride named ROSSAU in the whole index (and that was in 1950). Were they married in NSW? Are you sure about the surname?
