    3. All I use Thunderbird as my email programme (but I understand that others, like Outlook now have the same facility) which 'learns' what's junk mail and dumps it immediately into a separate folder. From that folder I can check its decisions or, as normally happens, just delete the whole lot in one go. In the few years I've been using it, it hasn't falsely labelled a real email as junk. Occasionally (about one every other day), I will have a spam message in my inbox that the programme can't decide on, and I just label it as junk if necessary, it's then deleted, and the programme learns for the future. Most internet service providers have their own spam filters these days, so only a limited amount gets through anyway. I always use my real email address and put it all over the place and have no more bother than I've outlined above. I dislike the idea of a falsified address as a crude measure and I know a lot of people find it very annoying, particularly on a mailing or news list. I do remember (was it five or so years ago) when the spamsters became very active, and email became almost unusable with the flood of junk in inboxes, but those days are long ago. Best Lloyd MITCHELL and WALKER in Korumburra, Kardella and elsewhere 1850s onwards/
