I'm failry certain that HM FISCHER had a brother that played a game or two for Melbourne in the 1910s - so maybe the family were good demons? cheers robert Julie wrote: > robert.j wrote: >> Hi, >> >> Wondering whether anybody has any info on Sergeant H M FISCHER - head >> of the Geelong Police station for a while in the 1930s before taking >> over the same role at the Hawthorn police station. >> >> On his retirement from Victoria Police in the late 1930s a newspaper >> report mentions that Fischer was a prominent football player - >> >> anybody got any idea which team Fischer may have played with? >> >> BTW ..
