Thanks, Judy. This is great! I wasn't aware that they had a Thomas. There should have been one, as his paternal grandfather was Thomas. This rules out the other Thomas, the one that came to SA, if the death record is correct, and I think it would be, as there is no mention of a Thomas in that family in censuses and in his father's will. What is "FMP"?
