    3. Hi folks I would like to DNA test my husband and my eldest brother. I would like both the Y Line test and mtDNA with as many markers as I can afford as well as genetic background by ethnicity, race, and geographic origin. I've tried to research the net on the subject and I'm now completely confused by what each DNA test lab is offering. Can SKS point me in the right direction and give me somewhere to start looking, please. Would be so grateful. regards Wendy

Would be > so grateful. > regards > Wendy The costs are considerable and if you are confused at what you have seen so far then when you get test results the confusion will increase These folk have some special promotion prices https://www.familytreedna.com/products.aspx I think a yDNA 12 will get you some ethnicity idea but you probably know these already You need to get the maximum of markers you can afford The small tests mainly get your interest but unless within same surname resolve nothing.
