Hi Can someone do a look up for me for Samuel Goode who died in North Adelaide age 64 around the 18th May 1859. It was reported in the South Australian Advertiser on the 18th May 1859. I wanted to know if there were any details at all.. i am trying to work out whether this Samuel is related somehow to my Samuel Goode I know they are not the same person as my John Samuel Goode died in 1855 in Queensland my JS was also known as Samuel. 3. Thanx John Yes that is a possibility. There was a GOODE who came to SA around 1850 with his family he created quite a bit of history in the districts of South Australia. ( he is in the Australian Biographical Dictionary) And i was searching around because i know my grandfather (d.1965) an engineer built a crane in Whyalla, the largest of its kind at the time of erection (Mum has the original architecture drawings). And we felt he may have stayed with relatives, but have found no connecting points as yet. The family was basically Queensland orientated, but who is to say where his job took him over time for short periods, as i found him living in Melbourne from the Censis, which i wasnt aware of previously. cheers Jewelly Shift your problems to challenges.  When you have problems, you worry about them.  When you have challenges - you are working, applying, and attacking your plan to get results.
