I've foudn a lpost on teh Liverpool Hibernia website suggestign John & May Elizabeth went to Australia - she is a sisiter to my husband's gt granmother Ellen Campbell, boen in or aroudn Newry or Hilltown, County Down, Ireland. Very intersted to hear what became fo them in Aus, adn when they went there. Best wishees Sheila

He was born in County Down, Ireland, in 1851 & I suspect he immigrated to Australia in 1887. I understand he was a seaman. He and Mary had a daughter, Charlotte (Catherine) who was born in 1870 in Manchester. She married Frederick Denecker in Sydney in 1896 & they had 4 daughters. John died in Melbourne in 1932 & Catherine died in Perth (Western Australia) in 1934. Kevin Lehane
