I understand that they research the family histories of more celebrities than we see on air, simply because many family trees are frankly not interesting enough to do an episode. In order to make an entertaining TV show, you need some skeletons in the closet, some sad or amazing stories, a few tears shed by the celeb, etc. Kerry
