However, the first journal that I opened up, The Colonial Magazine and East India Review, is missing pp.1-112, including the Births, Marriages and Deaths :-(. Nevertheless, some of the articles included in the three-year run [1849-52] of this journal include titles touching on other colonies, such as India, the Mauritius, and Canada, etc., and articles related to emigration such as: "Review--the Emigrant Family", "Emigration of the Poor", and "The Condition of Ireland Question--Emigration". I foresee many hours of happy reading! Alison
