It would also be some use if it gave the details of the grave. eg. So that was why that came up for login and for some reason changing to just Id did not work. So I deleted Firefox password line from Options. Then it logged in Then I realised don't click "Grave Search" click Deceased Search on left menu. Serious UI problems. I don't expect to have to read How To - UI should be obvious. Anyhow Julie click More at bottom of results that should give Grave number BUT why cannot I search on Surname only - I just don't know if any LANKSHEAR buried there. -- Ron Lankshear -Sydney NSW (from London-Shepherds Bush/Chiswick) try my links http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~lankshear/
What I usually do when you need to type in a first name is type in the most common names such as William, Thomas John, James, Henry etc and the same with the females, Mary, Elizabeth Catherine etc. My Uebel family, for example, has a set of about 10 male Christian names that were used throughout the first 3 generations in Australia so I always try those as well. I have not found anything that I have not already found on the Rookwood Cemetery Transcription CD, or by visiting the cemetery on many occasions, but most of my family were either Presbyterian or RC. Although it needs improvement it is a good start and (surely) can only get better.
