Dear Annie, On the Lancashire genealogy mailing list there is an Antony Lambert who offers the service using your local cheque for those who did not have the option to use either a credit card or debit card. I notice Antony now offers a far simpler service via Paypal which is Ebay. Ebay Australia has offices in North Sydney which would simplify matters with your local Australia cheque to avoid the $10++ international bank cheque charge I have not done money transfer using Western Union at your local post office but I suspect there are international charges applying also. Details of what you do are on http://www.c5d.co.uk/ and there is a currency converter on that page. More details and e-mail contact are on http://www.c5d.co.uk/certificates.htm Cheers & happy hunting, Tony Moore (Castle Hill, NSW) @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ On 10 Jan 2010 at 16:02, billannieliam wrote: From: "billannieliam" <billannieliam@ozemail.com.au> To: <GENANZ-L@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re ordering UK marriage certificate-help please Date sent: Sun, 10 Jan 2010 16:02:24 +1100 > Happy New Year Genanz > I seem to remember quite a while ago an organization where a UK marriage > certificate could be ordered and paid for in Australian dollars?? > Does anyone know if this company still exists.? > Otherwise how do other Australian list members go about obtaining these > certificates. > Thank you > Annie Stuart > billannieliam@ozemail.com.au No virus found in this outgoing message.
