Hi Mags, I have some information from the book "From Chains to Freedom, the Bellett linkage plus the Kidner family, 1788-1988" by Thais Mason (who died last year). Her information is slightly different from what you have below (I didn't see your original message). She has Jacob Bellett, transported aboard the Scarborough (a second volume gives the ship as the Lady Penrhyn) in First Fleet, born Shoreditch London 1765, died Tasmania 2/12/1813, married 1794 Norfolk Island to Ann Harper (Harpur), transported Lady Juliana in 2nd Fleet, born Bristol England 1772, died Tasmania 10/9/1842. There is no mention of a second marriage for Ann, but then, Thais was mainly interested in the Bellett line. Cheers, Jon Martin. > From: magsdags <magsdags@internode.on.net> > Date: Fri, 08 Jan 2010 00:33:21 +1000 > To: <genanz@rootsweb.com> > Subject: Headstone at Sorrel Tasmania. > > Many thanks to Ruth & Lyn for your replies. It is still a mystery as she > is listed at Bellette, Ann Harrison at Sorrel Cemetery and Harrison, Ann > on the Tasmanian Pioneer Records.
