Annie, You can order them direct from the GRO itself online and pay by credit card - as you know UK certificates are £7. Here's the URL http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ I've heard there are some commercial companies which offer the facility to order UK certificates but they apparently add on charges of their own, so not a good option.
