Dear Folks. Sorry if this is off topic. I am currently using FTM 2005 but am wondering if there is any benefit of up grading to FTM 2012 deluxe. Hoping some one can advise me. Cheers Elaine

Hi Elaine I upgraded to 2012, because you can sinc your tree with the one online, but there are limitations. You cant sinc a tree you already have on your computer to a tree you already have online, you have to either upload the one from your computer to ancestry, or download your ancestry tree to your computer. And if, like happened to me last week, your sinc stops working, you need to unsinc the trees, and then you cant resinc them to each other again. A total pain! But other than that, it really depends on what you need FTM to do for you.
