Hi, I have via electoral rolls and burial information located a couple (grand parents of a friend) I know that they were both born in 1928 which is too late for the births CD and their marriage would have been around 1948/9 again too late for the CD. Has anyone found a means of finding parents names under such circumstances - is there any other resource that can be used? I have the husband on the electoral rolls in 1949 - which would be the first one he could be on and he is alone. I have not found his wifes maiden name as yet so only have her with him. Unfortunately he does not appear to have had his parents with him from 1949 to 1980. I have also checked the "Herald Sun Tribute page" and found one entry in the sun in 2002 but unfortunately that only had family coming forward not his parents. And I have tried "Trove".
