Hi Vicki, That was my request and here are the replies - it was on the soc.genealogy.britain newsgroup on 26 October. There is a central BMD system called Genlias www.genlias.nl/ . It has a "click here for english" button - don't know how extensive that section is. Then there's the Central Bureau for Genealogy in the Hague http://www.cbg.nl/. I did a fair amount of their translations a while back, so I know they have an english section. Very helpful people. Their "links" section is also very useful. The equivalent to our Parish records tend to be scattered across the landscape and availablility is patchy - some areas (eg Delft) are superb. Others are not yet on line. Lesley Robertson Another very good starting point is geneaknowhow.net (also has english section) as there links are collected to all sources via either internet or CD / DVD productions. Richard Hello Di, As stated before Genlias.nl and CBG.nl are 2 very good websites for Dutch Genealogy. Also variable Dutch Genealogy webpages providing links. Googlebooks and archive.org contain books with genealogical information and pedigrees of dutch families. They may also want to search Family Surname websites that may already have the information they are looking for. If they need some assistance I can take a look at no charge. I can be contacted at [armando348 + @yahoo.com] Armando Framarini Cheers, Di Maloney "Vicki Smith" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected] > if possible. > > > Thanks > Vicki
