I've just sent off a response - which wasn't intended to insult Pat in any way - Pat has been a long time participant - helping when able and asking for help when the need arises .. and I thought a little more about it - and the answer to Pat's query: "Has anyone found a means of finding parents names under such circumstances" and I realised the answer is NO there is no single means - sometimes good luck is the answer - perhaps burial records show that another person shares the plot - and the name of that person contains the answer? Anyhow - if I seemed a little abrupt with Pat - it was not my attention - I was just a little surpirsed by the nature of the question cheers robert On 15/11/2011 11:12 PM, Pat Wade wrote: > Hi, > > I have via electoral rolls and burial information > located a couple (grand parents of a friend) > > I know that they were both born in 1928 which is > too late for the births CD and their marriage > would have been around 1948/9 again too late for > the CD. > > Has anyone found a means of finding parents names > under such circumstances - is there any other > resource that can be used? > > I have the husband on the electoral rolls in 1949 > - which would be the first one he could be on and > he is alone.
