    3. I am in Victoria and want to obtain a court transcript from a trial in 1907 in the Melbourne Court. I don't seem to be able to find where I may get the transcript or even if one can get it ( Don't think PRO has them). Does anyone have any experience in this and can direct me to the el dorado? I suggest that you approach the registry of the Court concerned. In Victoria, in 1907, there were no transcripts in the County Court, or in General Sessions (now merged with the County Court.) The Judge took notes of the evidence. Transcripts in the Supreme Court became compulsory a while back, but during my time in practice.
