But I doubt whether there is such a 'by-law' which would be a local regulation made by a Council rather than some State-wide legislation. Anyway, you could try FOI: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/nsw/consol_act/giaa2009368/ I've found Councils generally quite helpful, but bear in mind that most records are written (accessible at Council offices) and many have been lost or destroyed over the years. ___________________ Graeme Challinor
