Hi everyone I just wanted to know if anyone has seen anything like this on any of their ancestors Wills. In my Michael Byrnes will, on one of the pages it has a stamp on it with CASE NO 343 LAND TITLES OFFICE (either processed or recorded 5/1/1865. Just wondered what this could mean. Hi Dianna, You don't give enough information to state with any certainty - if this was part of the probate papers it would generally indicate that a mortgage or a title has been officially transferred or discharged as part of the distribution of the assets / debts. You don't say if the date is after Michael died and/or after probate was granted. Regards ......
