Hi Kate   I have seen the entry for Manson and have his details.  I am also aware of the Fred's who died in NSW but as I could not place my man there I have not looked further into these.  I'll keep them in mind if the Albury lead does not pan out.   Kind regards Gail. >________________________________ > > >Gail > >I see his brother Manson Willis White died 1971, aged 59 in Sydney, >42217/1971  WHITE  MANSON WALLIS  WALTER WILLIAM  MARY ELLEN  WINDSOR and is >noted on Ryerson, that doesn't help your cause I know but have you asked on >Ryerson for a look up for the two Frederick Thomas White's, 1967, 1969, ages >not given unfortunately but worth a try just in case the OP doesn't have >documentary proof re death at Albury. > >Rookwood Cemetery site is down at present so can't be searched. > >Regards, Kate >(Sydney, Australia) > > > > > > > >

    3. I got an immediate reply, he was buried as Frederick J Searby. So many mistakes on certificates, on the passenger list he was Francis then on his Death certificate he was Francis Joseph but definitely him. I am so pleased to find him buried with his parents and a cousin who died as a babe. A good result, thanks Trudy and Doug. I'm looking for Joseph SEARBY (Francis Joseph?) buried there 1882 aged 11yrs. I would like to know if he is buried with any other family member. I'm unable to find him on the deceased search facility as it does not go back far enough. As the first burial there was 1853 it seems unreasonable to think they started ripping it up only 29 years later. If anyone can help please I'd appreciate it. 1. Re William SEARBY now USA
    2. Kate
    3. Hello all Apart from a response from Doug when this was posted on the Brit Newsgroup, I wonder if anyone else can answer the question at the "end" of this message please? Kate I find the most compelling research that needs to be done regarding William Searby and his marriage to Maria Mannion, (Manion, Manning) has shifted to The USA. According to a birth Certificate I recently purchased http://s1235.photobucket.com/user/Catrina39/library/?sort=3&page= Informant (Maria) was not able to remember date of marriage (a bit suss I think, if your first child was born out of wedlock, a little embarrassing perhaps but not illegal, so a guess would have done) According to the ages of the children, the first was born 1869 the second 1871. On incoming passenger lists a W Searby (the only one I have been able to find) arrived In the USA Aug 1871 so could not have fathered either of these children. I have the birth of the third child Charles as above on Photobucket. The Resources I have been able to access online show two marriages for William Searby, one February another June 1873 neither of which are to Maria Mannion. No Marriage for Maria from those searchable post 1866. BUT the above preamble leads to my Question. Has anyone had experience with retaining a Researcher in The USA to do any research for them? Any response appreciated. Regards, Kate (Sydney, Australia)

    2. Hi Lesley I presume you got an answer on this a long time ago, if not email me back. Jabez Carr was my wife's g-grandfather, via the Graham marraige. We have some of Jabez' documents and memorabilia. Researching the genealogy on his mother we got back to: Richard Shoobridge, b. 1675 = married 14 Nov 1699, Beneden, Kent Mary Cheston, d. 27 Oct 1753, Beneden, Kent did you get this?
