Hello all Does anybody have a copy of Log of Logs? Looking for Surgeon's report (if any) for EAGLET arr Queensland July 1868. I have read report of torture and sent to a friend in England whose ancestor was on board. Just want to know if there was a Surgeon on board as there is no mention of one. Thank you Regards, Kate Sydney, Australia
Thanks Tom, even ten years less than that would have helped somewhat. Thanks to all who replied. Kate "Tom Perrett" wrote in message news:gbzcfgargnh.myqvwa1.pminews@news.usenetserver.com... I have a copy of Alfred's death information and anyone who may be related to this gentleman may have it by contacting me (junehenderson@iinet.net.au). Regards, June --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active. http://www.avast.com
Hi Kerrie Apparently the Reyburn headstone (in Presbyterian section) could not be transcribed as another headstone had fallen on top of it and was too heavy to move. You contact Melbourne Cemetery and they will advise you who else is buried with the parents. Happy New Year to all!! Would anyone have a copy of the transcriptions of Melbourne General Cemetery and could do a lookup for me please? I am looking for information on James Reyburn who died 23 October 1892 and his wife Marion who died 13 May 1915 and were buried in the Melbourne Cemetery. I particularly would like to know if any children's names are mentioned or even the inscriptions "our dear parents" or similar would help. I have their obituaries from Trove. Many thanks Kerrie NSW

I am not very familiar with the small rural towns, so hope someone is. Mary Anne Clarke married John George HARLAND 5 March 1885, in Quorn, SA, her father was James E Clarke. I presume she came from Quorn. The husband died in a car accident, 23 Sep 1891, at Eurilpa South Aus. He was born abt 1857. Would there have been interaction between thsoe two towns? John's father was also John George Harland, and there is a mention in Trove of a farmer of that name, in 1880 at Eurilpa. I dont seem to be able to access much in the way of South Aus records. Would like to know some good sites to check please. My real brick wall is finding out if John and Mary had children other than the one I know, Cecil George b 1890. And then finding out if John and Mary had siblings. Hi All, I hope this falls in the realm of this mailing list - but I have just found my fathers business - long since closed down - on this site (as a deregistered company) They have charges - Current Extract $19.90, Current & Historical Extract $28.90 plus bigger packages and stating that only Historical ASIC Extracts are available. Has anyone every purchased documents via this site and if so what sort of information do you get? Or is it different than what you would find at the PRO? Thank you Pat
