Thanks, Sandra Hi Sandra As far as I can remember I was helping another Hobbs who was related to a different line but descended from the original Thomas Hobbs (Convict) I can't remember who in particular he was looking for,we were scrolling through the Electoral Rolls but not with much success. My grandmother was Mary Josephina Hobbs granddaughter of the original Thomas. Where do you come into the story? Regards, Kate Sydney, Australia

I emailed then visited the Glen Innes Historical Society located at the back of the Glen Innes Museum. The researchers there were extremely helpful and though there is a fee for their services, they supplied me with a lot of data unavailable anywhere else. I don't have their contact details handy right now, but found them by googling. Nan Bailey Aust
