And do you really mean $1950? or is it $19.50? The Libraries Australia web site says there are copies in 8 Australian libraries -- see http://librariesaustralia.nla.gov.au/apps/kss?action=Search&mode=display&queryid=2&asyncsupported=true to check whether any of them are close to you. 3. Hi all, Being somewhat bored I thought I would try for my James SMITH again. What I have an reasonable confident about - James SMITH married Ann RAIT 1842 in Dunfermline, Scotland. They then traveled to NZ in 1842 on the Thomas Harrison with Ann's brother and his family. Details of voyage suggest that both were born around 1821. First child (Georgina) born 1842/3 either on voyage or shortly after arrival in NZ but no record of this seems to exist. Second child (Annie) born about 1847 in Sydney, voyage across not confirmed yet. Wife dies in 1877 in Bright where daughter two lives. I believe that James had already passed away but I am not sure. Ann and other family members are buried at the Bright Cemetery but NOT James. Daughter one lived for some time at Dunolly married in 1861 to James R CAITHNESS at Tarnagully. No death that I have found has anything definite that links him and with his common name I am struggling. IS ANYONE else RESEARCHING this family? Thank you. Regards, Pat Wade (Nee King) Melb, Vic
