    2. Robert G Eldridge
    3. I have recently published a new small ELDRIDGE family page at http://www2.hunterlink.net.au/~ddrge/genealogy/wae.html The two relevant Eldridge members were in Townsville QLD in the Australian Electoral rolls. This is an unusual family as both brothers changed their surname from ISAACS. They were Walter Arthur ELDRIDGE and his brother Leonard Thomas Frederick ELDRIDGE (death reg's QLD 1958). Walter married and his wife is shown as Grace Edith Rose ELDRIDGE in the rolls and Leonard married Jane Leighton HERRON. If any reader has access to Townsville QLD records that may mention any ELDRIDGE person I will appreciate the details. Cheers, -- Robert G. 3. Hi all, In the 1980s my wife's late uncle John Howman published two books on the known Howman family from Great Ryburgh, Norfolk and surrounding areas, including three brothers who went to Victoria in the 1850s. A distant branch of the family also came to Tasmania, the connection to that family was not known when the books were published. I am considering publishing a supplement to the books of births, marriages and deaths etc in the just over 20 years since the books were published (probably in PDF format for easy distribution rather than a book as such). I would love to hear from any Howman descendants. Thanks Ray

    3. Hi, I am so proud of my grandfather, William Gustav KLEIN, and he should be named, the original inventor of the telegraph pole lifter who worked for the P.M.G., Department during 1930-1941 at the NSW Strathfield pole yards. Otherwise the job would of taken 80 men to lift. The P.M.G. took the credit for his invention because he worked in their hours. Just a bit of trivia for you !!!!

There are 3 Florence Mather(s) in the Springvale records. 1 buried at Fawkner with death 1933 (Might be his mother) You might need to buy a couple of certificates to confirm tho.
