I'm also trying to find what happened to my great grandfather, John Raymond O'Neill. Its believed that he was born in central Illinois in about 1882. He divorced my great grandmother in about 1921. Family history says that he then took up with a "Bohemian" woman he met at the end of the railroad line. My grandmother had said before she died that she heard it whispered that he and this lady killed her first husband so that they could inherit his house, estate, and car in Wisconsin. We've never heard that they were caught or even if it was true. He had no interest in contacting his family after that so we're unsure of what happened to them.
