CAN anyone suggest what else I can do to solve the Myster of this MILLS Family. Timothy S Mills and Ora Jones MILLs had three children. JAMES, Ellen or Thelma? not sure to the name. AND Ray who was born in 1903 in Simpson County, KY. On Rays marriage it states he was born in TEXAS. On the childrens Births records it states KY. On his Social Security Card, it states KY. Supposedly he was in the Navy. There is no records of him ever being in the service. I have written for records. His death certificate states he was not in the service, YET he told his children he was in the NAVY and told them what ship he was. I have not found any record to prove this. I have checked in Franklyn, KY Simpson Co and in Harlan Co. I called an old friend of Rays and she thought he come out of a Orphanage in Texas where her husband was at. I can find no records . WHAT can I do now? He had no Aunts, Uncles, Cousins come to see him. Rays wife died with out telling her children if she knw anything about him. He supposedly left his parents home after a mis understanding? Thanks Evelyn
