Hi Miriam I can see that we have a whole different picture here. She must of left of her own. But why? Was this man she left with someone she married? How old was she when she married her husband and how old was he? Was it a setup marriage with the parents? Since they did not have safety strapes in High Chairs in those days to tie a child in a high chair was a common thing. I can even remember that being done in my era and it was not considered child abuse or unlawful. The bottom line would be how long he was there and probably no one really knows. I wish she had told you and defended herself and did she really make up with your father? I guess what we are looking at now is what employment did she seek and how many times did she remarry and where did all these events take place.
