I wrote my brother a letter. Apologizing for intruding on his life. And explaining that mom had only wanted to know that he was alright. I also told him that I had took off at 18 also. And only 2 years ago , had written to Mom after 18 years and told her why I had left. I explained to him that I was not chastized for this, and that nobody made a big deal out of it. I realize he has been gone since 1976, but we do care about him. And even though I had not seen him since I was about 9, I still miss him. I mean nobody has gotten me down on the ground and farted on me for 30 years.
