    1. Re: Weedmark/Weidmark/Wedmark/Widmark
    2. Hi Mary Thank you for you kind thoughts in sending this. Since this is in NYS and the fact that they lived in a Rural Area not that far from St. Lawrence Co. NY there is a possibility that we could have a connection. He could of remarried and settled down and had a Second Family. I would think that perhaps this would be a Grandson. However, if we could locate something on his father and his fathers DOD we could maybe find out who the father was. Howard Roy Weedmark was born abt 1881-82. Could be as late as 1885. He disappeared abt 1916. My mother was very young and perhaps he was already married when he left. She does not know. He was divorced at that time and again had he remarried late this could even be a Son. Boy! I would sure be excited if this was true. Also he could of changed his Name. One never knows anymore. You must of saw where I found my Uncle Wallace Weedmark/Weidmark's Son (Robert) on Gen-Unsolved Mysteries with the help of a Great Gal Diana. I was so excited when I talked to him Wednesday Night that I still have not got over it. Just think almost 50 years. Unbelievable!! Wouldn't it be the work of God if I could find where my Grandfather disappeared to? The Birth Cert show the name as Weedmark, but my mother's brother always used Weidmark as a spelling. Never knew why? Guess in the transulation from Swedish to English things like this happen. But I search under all the spellings. Thank You Again Pat
