Another short reunion story--thanks to the internet: My parents divorced in 1958 and I had no contact since 1959 with my dad and had not heard from his family since 1955. I posted a message on a surname bulletin board in mid-April. In mid-June a cousin emailed me that he read my message! We've spent the last month catching up on 45 years and are having a reunion with part of the family next week. This has even brought back into the loop some of the family members who had drifted away a little. My father, unfortunately, passed away about 20 years ago, but we're all very happy to have found each other, and think maybe he's smiling down on us. Keep networking and searching. Luckily mine didn't take much effort. Now on to my mother's family, which is another story. . .
