Hi Laura, I think what people mean (and I don't believe they are being nasty as this is a great list), is that the idea of a list like this is for anyone to post their mystery story on the list. That way all members have an opportunity to help you if they can. If you request that people contact you personally, then it defeats the reason for the list. No one here is or ever has been judgemental, only friendly and helpful. I guess in my view if you don't want to post your story to the list, that is your perogative; however, you may eliminate help from some very knowledgeable persons who have no wish to respond one on one.
