Is "Fred Mulligan" born abt 1880 or so your grandfather? Fred lived in Sherburne, New York with his parents from Ireland and siblings. One day he just up and disappeared. His brother John -- who was in the military passed away (by stray bullet) in 1905. According to journal in library "Fred Mulligan" was in New York City at the time. This is really the last time anyone heard from him. Now -- "Fred Mulligan's" father Patrick W. Mulligan came from Ireland - Sherburne -- unfortunately he (Patrick) was placed in the Binghamton State Hospital and spent 33 years (yes!) 33 years where he finally passed away of a Heart Attack. The State Hospital was a Mental Institution. Did Fred follow in his father's foot steps or was he just a free spirit? Please help!!! !. What happened to Fred Mulligan. 2.
