My unsolved mystery is this. My great-grandfather, William Samson COCHRANE, has a brother named Manning. The only reason I know this is from my great-aunt Nelle COCHRANE WOODS obituary. In it is says that Manning started a grain company with his father Thomas COCHRANE. It also list a Ruth COCHRANE as a niece. Ruth has to be Manning's daughter because she isn't my great-grandfather's child and the other sister married and would have a different last name. This obituary is from 1950. There is no other listing of a Manning Cochrane in any other obituary of the COCHRANEs. I'm not even sure where to look for him. Deirdre Zehner Kokomo, IN [email protected]
