    1. Re: [GEN-UNSOLVED-MYSTERIES] FRITSCHE family in Laurium MI
    2. P.S. or you might look for the Fritsche name in the Roots Web listings and post there also. They would be of considerable interest to anyone connected to the family but of no value to anyone else. I would expect Marie would be in her 80's if still alive. The family came to Laurium, MI in the 1920's from what we deduce. They probably made at least one trip back in the 30's. This is from a stash of money found also. The money has no value today because of the changes in government but totaled over a million marks. This from a time when a loaf of bread ran about 100,000 marks. Guess you can tell why they came here! >> >> There are no FRITSCHE's in the current telephone book.We are going to try the school alumni secretary. If no one claims it, Sarah will probably give it to the museum. But she really feels it would be better going to the family. >> >> ...Kathleen >> >> ==== GEN-UNSOLVED-MYSTERIES Mailing List ==== >> To get another copy of the Welcome Message send New mail to >> [email protected] . >> In the subject of the message type, >> "archive" without the quotes.
