    1. [GEN-UNSOLVED-MYSTERIES] (Gen-Unsolved-Mysteries) Glad I asked??
    2. Hi, I posted about a month ago asking for ideas about why my great-grandmothers death was May 7th and her burial was May 20, 1920, in North Dakota. Many people on the list suggested that it was because the ground was frozen. Today I received newspaper clippings from the North Dakota Historical Society (by the way it seems that they do a thorough job of looking for newspaper clippings). Anyway truth is stranger than fiction. It seems that she died of natural causes at home. Her husband was eccentric and scared because he found blood on her body. And he claims that the two of them had discussed very informal burial plans. He buried her in the back yard. People in town started to ask about her and he lied he said she had left/run away. The local police did a search and found the body in the back yard. He was jailed, there was an autopsy and an inquest. The autopsy found no evidence of foul play. She was buried in the local cemetery and he was released. Now my question is: what has been peoples experiences about sharing this kind of information with other family members? Thanks VickieM
