I have belonged to this list for some time and I find it real interesting, but I have never posted before. I have read all the things said about the lady looking for family. I have been there. I am sixty one years old, and I have no idea who my father was. I was given away when I was a baby, never legally adopted, and I found this all out when I was about 40. I know who my mother was, but she died before I could talk to her. I loved the people who raised me with all my heart, but I have so many unanswered questions, such as "why." Personally, I would say "yes", do all you can to find out. Only then, can you put it to rest. Thanks for listening. Helen
