Jo-Ann, I think that whomever is sending you those rude mailings obviously have no feelings nor heart. It seems as though they must have much more information to go on with their research than either you or I do. I wish you the best of luck in your search and hope you find your family soon. My Father and his siblings were raised in an orphanage and what very few people we can find that will talk to us only tell us lies and-or deliberately misleading information. I know it must be so frustrating not knowing who your family is. I know who my birth parents are, (as they raised me)- I just do not know what our REAL Surname is & therefore at this point in time even after all these years of researching, have been unable to locate any information on my Paternal side.
