    1. [GEN-UNSOLVED-MYSTERIES-L] Andrew McDaniels
    2. My g-g-grandfather Andrew McDaniels was found dead (neck broken) near the railroad tracks where he worked in Pittsburgh in February 1900. His wife Catherine ( nee Dunn) suspected this was connected to a murder trial at which he was to testify. Nothing was ever proven . His widow and children (John, Mary, Helen, Catherine, Ann & Agnes , who was born that June after her father's death) moved back to Plymouth, Luzerne Co., PA. This is all oral family history; I've sent for a copy of his obit in a Pittsburgh newspaper. I do not have a birthdate for Andrew McDaniels. On later censuses his children listed their father's birthplace as PA though I've never been able to find him. It appears that he married Catherine Dunn in Luzerne Co. ; their son John was baptised in St. Vincent's , Plymouth on 6 Feb 1887. The other children were born in Pittsburgh. Andrew McDaniels is supposedly buried in St. Agnes Cemetery, Dravosburg (near Pittsburgh), PA. Cindi Zimmerman E-mail : [email protected]
