My father disappeared in 1923 when I was three years old. He had been in the Coast Artillery, then the Navy, and I am trying to check those out. How he came to make the switch I don't know. His name was Warren G. Waterman Jr., but at the time of my birth in San Diego he was going under the name of John Bernoy Mallory for some reason. He worked for Western Electric in Los Angeles in 1922-23, but was back in San Diego when he disappeared. So far I've found no trace of him in San Diego, but I've just started. Could use any tips or leads.
