Hi List...My name is Becca and the story of my grandfather's death is my topic. His wife, (my grandmother) died after childbirth and he was left with 3 girls and 2 boys to raise. There are two versions: Childhood story was he was killed going across a railroad track. 2. He was in a notorious "juke Joint" and a guy shot at him...he held my father (5 yrs.old) over his head and the bullet hit my grandfather in the chest. My father was born in Jackson Co.
