interesting this - and if I want meat patties, I tend to agree with them about not making them too packed etc..... BUT I still always use the leanest ground beef I can find. I do add a small handful of oats with a spoonful or two of some liquid to soften them, a dollop of ketchup, and an egg well beaten.
