A few days ago, Robert STODDART, upwards of sixty years of age, set off from Newcastle, at daybreak, and arrived at Tarnside, near Wigton, in Cumberland, a journey of 66 miles, the same evening. - He carried a fishing-rod the whole way; and was so little fatigued by the performance, that he was in a great hurry the next morning to go and shear corn.
