BROWN, after travelling 18 miles, was delivered of a child at the Globe Inn, in Carlisle, though she had not arrived an hour before; and, on the Thursday before, Jane IRVINE, about eleven at night, walked to the workhouse in that city, without assistance, and in less than an hour was safely delivered, and walked home to her lodgings in English-street, a quarter of a mile distant.
