Also a caller from Leeds rang and told of exactly the same weather up there and that it was heading south. I'm not sure what we in the Midlands can do as it seems that we'll be getting it from both ends. The rain you had in Sittingbourne didn't reach as far as Ramsgate. Shaun said it was very wet yesterday when he was at work, but here on the coast, it was beautiful blue skies, hot & sunny. Until midnight !! Then we had a terrific clap of thunder that shook me right out of bed !! The rain gushed down, the thunder was almost right overhead & the lightning lit the room up.
