I'm using a laptop - and keep hitting a key which changed the keyboard settings to 'capital' - where the 'caps-lock' button comes on - and even if I turn it off - everything is still capital - including the keys such as the /? - ,< - .> - with this "mystery" key hit - I only get ? < > & not the others ... Plus - when I move the mouse pointer to edit a piece of text - the whole lot highlights ... It's really strange - and I have no idea how to switch it off again ... Any ideas - you laptop users .. ? .... Sue
Assuming you had a manual with your laptop, or at least a manual pre-installed on your laptop I would suggest that you look through that to see what the "FN" key does with your laptop. This varies from laptop to laptop I think, so not sure that what it does to mine will do it for yours. This is clutching at straws though.
