    3. I can cope with most insects, it's the ones that you can't see like the sneaky mosquitoes, doing a good deed the other day I let my guard down and got bitten, since the West Nile virus started have managed not to escape that fate, they used to love feasting on me, that's a risk you try to avoid now. Horse flies have never bothered me Now ...Has Everyone Melted .......look out Jean in MA it's your turn .... The list is so quiet I am wondering if everyone has survived the heatwaves, I think Mary and I have just about melted away, well I have anyway, my apartment was Over 100f yesterday, and overnight was still over 94f it's been hot for what seems forever, all week getting hotter each day, later today we are in for severe Stormy weather, and hopefully the humidity will go, lots of our places recorded the humidity between 106f to 114f /45c ... I remember that temperature from David jnr's wedding in Cyprus .. standing out in the noontime sun, that we couldn't escape Now I need to go out and shop, have run out of the basics, waiting for the community bus though, that's the least amount of walking ```````````````````````````````````````````````````

    3. sent to me by 'evva in the E. TTFN Marlene Dear Diary: Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double pane energy-efficient kind, but this week I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I hadn't paid for them. Now just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told ME last year.... Namely, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It's been a year! (I told him.) There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung up.... He didn't call back. Guess I won that stupid argument.
