The basic purpose of the List is the discussion of just about any subject under the sun which has a bearing on how we and our (English) ancestors lived. In practice, we talk about anything and everything because today's events are tomorrow's history <grin>. If you are involved in researching your family history let us know when you have a problem as it is very possible someone here can help. If you aren't, it doesn't matter as the subjects we cover are of interest to everyone who can remember the events and things of yesteryear - or even yesterday. My expierence on a computer being card games, living jigsaws, and other puzzles that I do in my spare time, not much of that though; and the data based computers in the shop where I work. Day off is normally having my 2 young grandchildren. Used to do a lot of cross stitch but now have started making my own cards, and enjoying it very much . Have been told there is a Reunion this week, and details of where it is to be. Is there a meeting place there ? and what time please if someone will be kind enough to let me know, hoping you won't mind my joining in at this late moment.
