I would suggest we meet at the Winchcombe Station of the GWSR .... Time = 10am ... Now "listen-up" all you "Train-Buffs" ... Hehehe The first train out of Winchcombe to Toddington is at 10.40am ... Arrives in Cheltenham at 11.01 ... Leaves Cheltenham at 11.15 ... Arrives at Winchcombe at 11.36 ... Leaves Winchcombe at 11.42 ... Arrives at Toddington at 11.51 ... This is ONE ROUND TRIP ... At Toddington - there will be a short wait - approx. 45 minutes ... At Toddington there is a small museum and also a narrow gauge (2ft) railway to look at - or we could just sit and natter .. :-)) ...... The train then leaves Toddington at 12.30 ... Arriving in Winchcombe at 12.39 ... If you don't want to travel to Toddington after the first full run - then you can get off at Winchcombe and wait for those of us who do .. :-))) ..... Here - we can see the activities on offer - before making our way to the Corner Cupboard" for lunch at 2pm ... IF there is any deviation to this timetable of events I will let you know as soon as I possibly can ... The fair is a tad steep - at £9.50 per adult - £8.00 for us pensioners - but it's a fairly long ride - and all of this is voluntary and high maintenance .. :-))) .......
